Responsibilities
Fleet Coordination: Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles to the appropriate locations based on customer needs, specifications, and requirements.
-Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing necessary information and instructions to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Route Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to maximize efficiency, reduce fuel costs, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor Deliveries: Track and oversee delivery progress, promptly addressing any delays or issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety and operational procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, driver logs, and other relevant documentation for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve operational challenges such as mechanical breakdowns, delays, or emergencies.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed about delivery statuses and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
